Rector Prof. Dr. Tarık Yarılgaç's Message about Acceptance of the National Anthem and Remembrance Day of Mehmet Akif Ersoy “
The national anthems reflecting the historical races, journeys and nations of the nations are the most important historical guides that transfer the national consciousness and all existence struggles that shape the consciousness from the past to the future. In addition to all these features, The National Anthem is written at the very center of the National Struggle, and it is an exemplary emancipation of the whole world and it is formed from the deepest point of the founding process and puts it apart from all other marches.
Our national anthem started with the word do not be afraid and without any hesitation in its struggle, without stepping back and aiming for the future.
Our national anthem is the struggle of our nation with its persevering, enlightened and unshakable belief and also it represents the sacrifice, independence and heroic lines of history. In this occasion, we are commemorating all the heroes of our organization, including Gazi Mustafa Kemal, the national poet of the Turkish National Anthem Mehmet Akif Ersoy who is the headworker of the national and all of the heroes with mercy.
