ODU increases its recognition in the international arena
Academic staff from Lithuania Panevezys University and Bari University in Italy in the framework of Erasmus+ Exchange Programme paid a visit to the Rector Prof Dr Tarık Yarılgaç and gave lectures at the faculties. The guest academic staff also met the students and introduced themselves to each other.
In the framework of Erasmus + Academic and Administratice staff mobility which aims at lecturing and visiting and also exchanging the ideas and experiences among European universities, Ordu University is performing a variety of cooperations such as improving scientific awareness, exchanging the advances with the latest technological and scientific practices.
Within this scope, Dalia Urboniene, “Gobal World, Europe and Multicultural Society’’, Dr. Rasa Glinskiene ‘’the enterprises in Lithuania’’, Reda Jonušauskiene ‘’ the realities of Pre-school education’’, Zita Kasperiuniene ‘’ Logistics and Supply Chain Management’’, Audrone Rimkuviene’’ The development of nursery in Lithuania’’, Lorena Carbonara ‘’ Audio-Visual Translation in the framework of Italian and Turkish Languages’’ presented their lectures at the different faculties and VET schools.
The Rector Prof Dr Tarık Yarılgaç received the academic staff and made a speech on the occasion. The Rector said ‘’ Erasmus+ programme provided significant benefits to all the organizations. As Ordu University, we aim at improving joint projects, exchanging of the students and academicians among European universities and recognising of the studies performed by the academic staff. In the framework of the learning agreement signed by the two universities ; Ordu University and Lithuania University and also Bari University , we have had the facilities of echanging academic staff and students and sharing the scientific experiences, getting to know each other closelly.’’
The Rector prof Dr Tarık Yarılgaç ended his speech saying that ‘’Ordu University will continue to maintain activities such as improving new ideas, promoting new cooperations and meeting the needs of social and human capitals.’’
