Faculty of Medicine Morphology Building and Hospital Project Area Increased to 250 Decares

42 decares of land was allocated for the construction of the Medical Faculty Morphology building next to the hospital planned to be built on an area of ??208 decares belonging to our university.

The project works continue for the hospital, which is planned to be built by the Ministry of Health on the land allocated by our university, of which 592 are single, with a total of 900 beds and a service building of 278 thousand 370 square meters, an additional service building of 16 thousand square meters and a total closed area of ??300 thousand square meters. Within the scope of the ongoing project, an additional area of ??42 decares was allocated in line with the decision taken by the Board of Directors of our University in order to include a Morphology building project, which will include classrooms, laboratories and study rooms for faculty members and students of the Faculty of Medicine. The morphology building, with a total closed area of ??22 thousand 300 square meters on the allocated land, will be built within the scope of the hospital project.

Regarding the subject, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan said, “In recent months, the situation on the land where the hospital will be built has been evaluated by the expert delegation and the project team from the Ministry of Health Health Investments Services General Directorate. The project work for the 900-bed hospital, which is planned to be built on 208 decares of land allocated by our university, has come to an end. However, it is extremely important that both our faculty members and our students are close to the field of research and application, and that the health problems of our people are solved as soon as possible by ensuring closer communication with the patient. For this reason, in addition to the land we have allocated for the hospital, we have allocated a place of 42 decares for the construction of the Medical Faculty Morphology building. Thus, our University Faculty of Medicine and the hospital will be side by side, and our students will have the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical education in the field of research and application. The combination of our Hospital and Morphology building in a single project will provide a better service to the people of Ordu and the region, as well as provide great opportunities in the field of practice for the Faculty of Medicine students studying at our University. I believe that our Hospital and Morphology building will be an exemplary project with its technological equipment, physical structure and functionality. Our hospital, which will stand out in our city and region with its qualified academicians, healthcare professionals and physical abilities, will respond to our needs in the field of health to a great extent in terms of both offering a wide range of applications to students and appealing to a wide patient group. I hope that our hospital, which we wish to be completed in a short time, will be beneficial to the people of Ordu, our region and our country. "
