Turkey's struggle for liberation and foundation plays an important role in human beings history. It was succeeded with a unique manner by giving through the combination of democratic channels in the history of mankind. Liberation struggle was gained with Turkey Grand National Assembly’s  decisions in unity and solidarity.  All of the innovations  and reforms that realized by our Republic  were carried out by our Veterans Council.

Our state and our democracy is an example of the world with its rise, stance and globalization has enlightened the whole geography as a sun by rising from its historic pride and the determination to live freely. Our Grand National Assembly has become a shelter for the oppressed people who are against the oppressors as an example of becoming a state from collapsing a big empire.

Our Turkey Grand National Assembly was established with these beliefs and high ideals under the leadership of veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on 23th April and Atatürk gifted this day to children which was embroidered into the hearts of generations. This embroidery intends to leave a permanent and unshakable ideation in the memory of our children and it presents the message that all mankind always keep their doors open for world peace.

With these feelings and thoughts, I remember to Turkey Grand National Assembly's first president Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, all the parliamentarians who struggled for our Independence War and managed the first Assembly and all the martyrs and veterans with  mercy and gratefully. Also, I congratulate 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day in our country and Children’s Day Festival of children in the world.
