The online graduation ceremonies of our university's education units for the 2019-2020 Academic Year were held.

Graduation ceremonies, which could not be held in a physical environment due to the Covid-19 pandemic, were organized in a virtual environment by remote access method and broadcast live on the You Tube channel of our University Distance Education Center.

In the graduation ceremony program, Faculty Deans, Schools and Vocational School Directors and the top graduates made a graduation speech.

Addressing the graduates with video recording during the continuation of the program, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan said, “Today, you graduate as a result of your successful studies, leaving behind a long and arduous education process. Graduation, which means the end of an era and also new beginnings, represents the first step towards reaching the goal. First of all, I congratulate you, our valuable students, who graduated from your success as a result of your efforts and efforts, and congratulate our esteemed faculty members who work devotedly for your upbringing, and your precious families who do not hesitate to make any sacrifices for their children. " 

Stating that Ordu University continues to increase its success graph with each passing period with its academic and physical development as well as its constantly developing technological and scientific infrastructure, Rector Akdoğan said, “By carrying out studies for our university to provide a respected university image in the national and international arena, we take our place among universities in our country and the world every year. we carry it up. This success is the common product of a stable work we carry out with all our stakeholders. It is of great importance for our country to train qualified manpower that fulfills the requirements of the age, prepares our future by benefiting from the treasures of the past, and has the awareness of history and civilization. In line with this mission, universities are institutions that research, question, produce information and foresee the use of the produced information for the benefit of the society and most importantly, train qualified manpower. As members of a university that has the responsibility of serving our region and country, we believe that knowledge is power, scientific production is superior and knowledge sharing is essential in transferring our knowledge and experience we have acquired with great devotion to our students. ''

Rector Akdoğan said, “You should adopt the principle of being individuals who learn continuously for your future and act with the effort of constantly improving yourself in every field. Whatever your field is, try to be better equipped and make a difference by prioritizing sustainability in learning. Remember, constantly improving and renewing yourself is the most important indicator that you are always one step ahead of others. The diploma you have received is a tool that will lead you to your goals, but I want you to know that it is not a sufficient document for your future life. I sincerely believe that you will be successful in your future business and social life and will work with all your strength to make our country a pioneer in every field. We are happy and peaceful as we bring in new individuals like you to the modern and qualified manpower that our country needs. I believe that you, our valuable students, who have successfully graduated from our university, will contribute to every element of this country and nation, every sacred value in a wide range from the development of the country to the advancement of science, and that you will represent Ordu University in the best way. Congratulations on your graduation with these feelings and thoughts; I wish you a healthy, happy and successful life with your families. "
