Rector of our university Prof. Dr. Tarık Yarılgaç gave thanks certificates to the members of the Local Organizing Committee after completing 21. Academic Informatics Conference.
After the Academic Informatics Conference in which there was an intensive participation, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tevfik Noyan and members of the Local Organizing Committee visited our rector Prof. Dr. Tarık Yarılgaç in his office. After the conference, which was organized with the aim of introducing, discussing, sharing experiences and creating common policy with the participation of approximately 3 thousand people by bringing together relevant groups on the information technologies in universities, Rector Yarılgaç presented appreciation certificates to the members of the Local Organizing Committee.
As the rector of Ordu University Prof. Dr. Tarık Yarılgaç underlined the importance of supporting the 21st Academic Informatics Conference with its scientific reasoning and spatial role. He also said “We are in the age of informatics where technology has become an important determinant in temporal and spatial framework. This age corresponds to a period in which the countries that have the power of information technologies to have a say in global competition and make it a social tool are determinative in the social, economic and political fields. So that made significant progress in the field of informatics in Turkey and we see this breakthrough as the more functional progress. Moreover, national development goals should aware that depending on the dynamics revealed in the informatics field should be hosted by scientific mind as well as physical support. We regard 21. Academic Informatics Conference as very significant. In addition to this, we think that the distance education center will prepare the online course materials and organize the systematic exams in all of our units.
