The second Concert of “Voices of Civilization ” was held

The second of the traditional Voices of Civilization concert including Turkish Sufi Music was given by the academic staff and students and it was organized by the Faculty of Theology of Ordu University,

The concert was held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Medicine of the University. Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Tarık Yarılgaç, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Fikri Balta, Prof. Dr. Tevfik Noyan, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Sadık Kılıç, Dean of Faculty of Music and Performing Arts Prof. Sabri Yener, academic and administrative staff, students and guests attended.

The Faculty of Theology was the conductor of the Turkish Sufi Music concert. Instructor Samet Karahüseyin was the conductor of the concert and it was accompanied by musicians and songsters. The names of the songs and poems were Hüzzam İlahi-Ah Bimekanım Bu Cihanda, Alemlere Rahmet Olarak Geldin, Segah İlahi-Dinle Sözümü Sana Direm, Bayati Peşrev, Canu Dilden Aşıkam Billahi, Uşşak Tevşih-Vasıl Olmaz Kimse Hakka, Çağırayım Ey Dost Seni, Hüseyni Tevşih-Alemler Nura Gark Oldu, Uşşak Nefes-Zahid Bizi Ta’n Eyleme, Rast Peşrev, Aç Ellerini Gönülden Yalvar Yüce Allah’a, Gaflet Uykusundan Yatar Uyanmaz, Rast Şuğül-Mevlid ya Salih ve Sellim Daimen Ebeden, On Sekiz Bin Aleme Server Olan Muhammed ve Mahir Salat-u Selam.

After the concert, the Vice-rector Prof.Dr. Dr. Fikri Balta said that Turkish Sufi Music concert became a traditional one and he thanked to the contributors.

At the end of the concert, Rector Prof. Dr. Tarık gave a certificate and flowers and thanked to conductor instructor Samet Karahüseyin.
