Ordu University which has stedially been continuing its scientific studies since the establishment maintains its rise according to the indexed publishing report of the state universities in which publishing numbers exist in web of science data base system.

ODU keeps 17th row among the universities established after the year 2006

According to the international publishing report of Web Science data base between the years 2014-2017 in which the number of articles published in indexed magazines are of the important criteria , Ordu University is in the row 58 among 107 state universities for per academician with the average 0.92 and in the row 17 among 54 universities established  after the year  2006. Our university has always been in the process of rising its scientific activities since the foundation in 2014 as well as physical development and while ODU delivered 89 articles in 2014, the number of the articles increased up to 149 in 2015 and 215 in 2016, it produced 198 articles in number in 2017 and totally 648 articles and improved its place in international index.

The Rector , Prof Dr Tarık Yarılgaç made a speech about the occasion and said '' Comparison  of scientific qualifications of the universities and evaluation of academic performances of scientists have been of great importance in recent years and the results and such reports have been accepted as one of the basic measurement .  As Ordu University, we have always been aware of the reality and given  great interest for the improvement  in a variety of research and development activities. In this sense, I sincerely congratulate all academicians who have been in the process of delivering the articles which lead Ordu University to the higher level and wish success with these studies.''
