The Quaity Board meeting by which the forming of internal evaluation, accreditation, quality and performance is aimed taking consideration the outputs of the priorities of Higher Education Council data about targets and also international and national advancements and constructing its own quality assurance systems about the evaluation of HEC , accreditation and quality processes has been carried out by participation of the president of the quality board of Higher Education, Prof Dr Muzaffer Elmas, the Rector Prof Dr Tarık Yarılgaç and Senate Members in senate room.

The Rector Prof Dr Tarık Yarılgaç introduced a presentation about institutional evaluation report of Ordu University and improvements in 2018. In the presentation  statistical data about strategical administrative processes of university units are involved, the Rector Yarılgaç said '' They stressed on the points that are focused on processes of design, observation and update of educational programmes and took consideration into quality standarts during all administrative processes and continued that they determined the strategic goals and targets of Ordu University for the period of 2015-2019 and they are conducting strategic plans for 2020-2024 in accord with quality assurance system.

The Rector Prof Dr Tarık Yarılgaç stressed '' Ordu University has always been in the process of targeting sustainable improvement of quality assurance system and sensitive to the demands and expectations of the stake holders, democrative, participative'' and continued '' While Ordu University is in the process of creating institutional quality assurance system, PUKÖ cycle is considered to be rooted  in the framework of the cycle.  Ordu University is acting with an institutional vision taking into consideration planning, application of plans, and observing the results of applications and updating the needs.''

A Higher Education of main target institutional maintenance with quality assurance system

The president of the quality board of Higher Education Council Prof Dr Muzaffer Elmas thanked  for the presentation carried out by the Rector of Ordu University Prof Dr Tarık Yarılgaç about the understanding of institutional  quality  administration performed by Ordu University and passed along the information about education, accreditation, quality processes in higher education and stated that Higher Education Authority is continuing to create the targets in accord with quality assurance policies and trying to gather at democratic base and reflecting the quality assurance processes to all organizations and increasing the awareness of the employees.

A scientific understanding focusing on the quality of knowledge rather than quantity  

Prof Dr Elmas underlined that the administrative and academic staff of all universities should have that kind of awareness, thus researching policies,strategies and goals of the organizations could be determined easily and stated that searching activities should be shared with the society correlating with national targets, which could rise the level of universities in international rows. Thus, we aim at improving a scientific understanding which focuses on production, questioning and quality of knowledge.
