Ordu University and Urbino University “Carlo Bo” signed a cooperation protocol covering English Language and Literature, Economics, Physical Education and Sports and Biology.

In the framework of Erasmus Exchange Program which aims to increase the quality in higher education, to strengthen the cooperation of higher education institutions with each other and with the business world, to increase the mobility of academic staff, to strengthen personal development of individuals, to increase employment opportunities and to develop joint scientific activities. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Tarik Yarılgaç visited Urbino University to sign the cooperation protocol. He is accompanied by the head of International Relations Unit Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şermin Tağ Kalafatoğlu and Lecturer Selin Yurdakul.

Following the negotiations, Rector Prof. Dr. Tarık Yarılgaç and Rector of University of Urbino Prof. Vilberto Stocchi has signed a cooperation protocol covering the fields of English Literature, Economics, BESYO and Biology

Rector Prof. Dr. Tarık Yarılgaç stated that they continue to form joint working fields by implementing cooperation protocols that increase the recognition of Ordu University in national and international level: “Our university continues its studies to establish collaborations with the world's leading universities in both academic and student exchange programs. In particular, our University has bilateral agreements with many universities within the framework of Erasmus Exchange Program. As a continuation of this, we signed a protocol with the University of Urbino in Italy, which will pave the way for our students in terms of quality employment and will enable them to carry out scientific studies to be carried out jointly. This protocol will help our academic staff and students to carry out joint scientific studies with Urbino University. I would like to extend my gratitude to the academic staff who have contributed to this protocol and to the directors of the University of Urbino, Italy who honoured us with their hospitality.
