Dr. Sebiha Kablay, academic and administrative staff, students and guests attended to the program held on the YouTube Oduzem channel. The moderator of the program was the Director of Gender Application and Research Center Asiss. Prof. Dr. Nalan Arabacı.

Making the opening speech of the online seminar program, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdogan stated, “I think that with modernization, the burden of women has increased, the rights of women and children have been violated to a great extent, and women's labor has been ignored by some segments. I do not find it right to employ children as child labor at the age when they should live their childhood. I underline that we, as a society and as a nation, should not allow this to happen. I support that women should be positioned as they deserve, positive discrimination should be given to them, and the same sensitivity and sensitivity should be shown for our children. At this point, we are trying to do our best as a society, our government is also very sensitive on this issue. I think that it is extremely important for us, as academicians, to contribute to an awareness and awareness process on the issue. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the organization of the program with these thoughts.”

In the continuation of the program, Ünye Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sebiha Kablay informed the audience on many issues such as the problems faced by women in working life, child labor, and the agricultural sector in terms of children.
