Our university took its place among the universities to a higher level again according to URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) 2020-2021 Turkey Ranking. URAP 2020-2021 Turkey Ranking results conducted by URAP Research Laboratory within the Informatics Institute founded in Middle East Technical University were published. 

According to the results of URAP 2020-2021 prepared using the data published by the Council of Higher Education with Clarivate Analytics / In Cites, our university was 83rd out of 166 universities in Turkey, 70th out of 110 state universities, and 25th out of 95 universities founded after 2000. 
While evaluating the universities, the number of articles, the number of articles per faculty member, the number of citations, the total number of scientific documents, the total number of documents per faculty member, the number of doctoral students, the ratio of doctoral students, the number of students per faculty member were used.

URAP rankings, which are an important reference source for academic studies and show at what level universities can produce science, offer universities an important evaluation opportunity in setting goals, and help universities to compare their academic performance with other universities and to realize the sides of universities that are open to improvement according to the determined criteria.
