Our university's 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester distance education process has been completed with the participation of 95.2 percent of the students.

In line with the data from the Distance Education Application and Research Center of our University, a total of 47,718 sessions were held during the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester distance education process, which started on October 5, 2020. The total time of watching live lessons in the education process, in which the students participated with a rate of 95.2 percent on a semester basis, was reflected in the statistics as 1 million 841 thousand 558. In addition, a resource of 378 gigabytes of approximately 400 thousand course content was uploaded to the Evdekal Learning Management System by the instructors.

In addition, the senate, board of directors, academic board and commission meetings of our University and its academic units were held through the system throughout the semester. Institute's thesis defense exams, thesis monitoring committee meetings, seminars, etc., the number of meetings was organized in 360 different sessions.

Regarding the subject, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan said, “As higher education institutions, we have made every effort and effort to minimize the effects of the pandemic process we are experiencing on the education life of our students and we continue to do so. As Ordu University, we make our preparations for the necessary infrastructure, equipment and information systems in order to ensure that the educational processes are carried out without interruption as much as possible and our students do not suffer from victimization, and the participation of our students in the fall term education process by distance education and by 95.2 percent. We completed it without any problems.
