Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan made observations at the workshop established for the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass.

During the examinations, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Zekai Tarakçı and the department lecturers received information about the work done. It was informed that the knowledge gained in theory could be transferred to practice with the workshop where an infrastructure was created where students could comprehend the types and limits of ceramic material. It was stated that in the workshop, which aims to provide students with artistic technology and industrial competence, besides artistic works, trainings can be given to produce products that can meet the needs of daily use such as tableware, sanitary ware and ornaments suitable for mass production.

Making a statement after his examination, Rector Akdoğan said, “Our university continues to develop, grow and become more qualified with each passing period. While continuing this development, we continue to offer the facilities of our University in terms of the application area and equipment needed by our units. The workshop established for the Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramics and Glass Department is one of them. This workshop is important for our students to transform their theoretical knowledge into practice. In this context, our students who receive theoretical and applied education will have the necessary competence in the field of ceramics and glass when they graduate. I would like to thank our academic and administrative staff who have contributed and wish them success in their work."
