Our university staff Adem Karadeniz returned with a gold medal from Visually Impaired Turkey Athletics Championships.

The championship was organized by Turkey Visually Impaired Sports Federation and held in Samsun including 300 athletes from 32 provinces in long jump, shot put and jogging fields.. Our university staff Adem Karadeniz who works in the Faculty of Dentistry and also is an athlete in Orduspor Visually Impaired was the winner of Visually Impaired B3 Category and has become the champion of Turkey this year.

Rector prof. Dr. Tarık Yarılgaç accepted Adem Karadeniz to his office after the success of becoming champion. Our rector said that “Adem Karadeniz demonstrates that life is one of the main motivation sources of life, which improves itself in the field of sports and thus does not constitute a restriction in the point of success of the obstacles, makes us proud and happy on the institutional scale. On this occasion, our staff won the gold medal from Visually Impaired Athletics Championships in Turkey. I congratulate him.“
