Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's 79th death anniversary was held by the Student Council in Ordu University.

The program carried out in front of the Atatürk Memorial in the Republican Campus of Ordu University. Students, the academic and administrative staff of our university took part in the ceremony. The ceremony which started with the silence of 2 minutes with the hooter voice at 09.05. It continued with the reading of the National Anthem. After a wreath was placed in front of the Atatürk Monument, a speech was made about the 79th death anniversary of Atatürk by the Student Council.

Vice rectors Prof. Dr. Tevfik Noyan, Prof. Dr. S. Metin Kara and Prof. Dr. Fikri Balta visited the exhibition organized by the Student Council within the scope of Atatürk Memorial Activities on November 10 and it wil be opened for three days. Atatürk's photographs were exhibited and the songs loved by Atatürk were played in the School Center Canteen. Also the visitors wrote their wishes, thoughts and feelings to the journal notebook.
