I congratulate the "19 September Veterans Day", which we accept as the honor day of our heroic veterans, who do not hesitate to put their lives for our beloved country and nation.

Our veterans, who laid the foundations of our unity and solidarity, our consciousness of being a nation, together with our saint martyrs, undoubtedly attain the greatest pride in the face of our determination to protect our unity and our efforts to lead a life in peace and brotherhood.

Our nation will never forget our veterans and martyrs who have their names written in gold letters in our history by running from the front to the front in order to preserve the indivisible integrity and independence of the country, and will continue to protect their sacred heritage in the best way. It is our main duty to glorify the memories of our veterans, who are the mark of superior sacrifice for the survival of the state and the nation, and we express our gratitude to them.

Today, as the anniversary of Atatürk's arrival in the city of Ordu in 1924, is a day of special importance for our fellow citizens from Ordu. I remember with gratitude our martyrs and veterans, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and wish all our veterans health, peace and happiness for this important day, which has a special meaning for our nation and our fellow citizens.
