Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan accepted our student Fikriye Hülür, who is a player of the hearing impaired Women's National Volleyball Team which is the world champion- in her office.

In the World Championship final was held in Italy on September 23, our hearing impaired Women's Volleyball National Team defeated Italy 3-2 and won the gold medal.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan, accepted Director of the School of Physical Education and Sports Prof. Dr. Alparslan İnce and Fikriye Hüldü, a 4th year Sports Management student who plays in the hearing impaired Women's Volleyball National Team, in his office and congratulated her and the national volleyball team for her outstanding success.

In his speech, Rector Akdoğan said, “In the competition held in Italy last month, the National hearing impaired Women's Volleyball Team defeated Italy 3-2 and became the world champion. The world championship won by our national team of which Fikriye Hülür is a player, a 4th grade student at the School of Physical Education and Sports of our University, has made our country proud. I congratulate and congratulate our student and our national team for this outstanding achievement, both on behalf of our University, our city, and our country. Our university will continue to make its name known both nationally and internationally with this and many other successes.”
