The Vice-Rector Prof Dr Fikri Balta, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof Dr Zekai Tarakçı, the chairwoman of organizational commission, Associate Prof Dr Şermin Tağ Kalafatoğlu, Academicians and students took part in the event , the 3rd Documentary Film Days organized under the authourity of the Department of Cinema & Television of the Faculty of Fine Arts and held in the faculty seminer hall.

During the event held by the Faculty of Fine Arts, nine films were presented to the cinema lovers. In the scope of the event, the documentary films ; ‘’Ordu’da Bir Bulut’’ by Nuh Bağcı, ‘’Bir Nergis Bir Leblebi Bir Ayvalık ’’ by Cemalettin İrken, ‘’ Bulutlara Giden Yol’’ by Zühre Gökağaç, ‘’ Bilinmeyen Tarihimiz’’ by Erol Elden, ‘’Cehennem Adası Nargin’’ by Halim Esen, ‘’Bilim İnsanları’’by Bahattin Baysal, ‘’Ahşabın Maviliğe Yolculuğu’’ by Ufuk Uğur, ‘’Salı’’ by Hüseyin Baki Karataş, ‘’Namibya’’ by Ebru Çakırkaya, ‘’Zeynel Bey Türbesinin Taşınma Belgeseli’’ by Yağmur Nazik have been presented to the audience.

On the 2nd day of the event the Directors from TRT, Ebru Çankaya and Yağmur Nazik gave speeches about the films made by the coordinatorship of the TRT domestic productions, the department of documentary and drama and filming stories of the films and their experinces in the documentary film industry. 

The Vice-Rector Prof Dr Fikri Balta made a speech drawing the attention for the importance of documentary films and thanked the Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof Dr Zekai Tarakçı and delivered the certificates to the participants.
