Rector of our University, Prof. Dr. Ali Akdogan, the growing awareness of the environment for future generations and greener Turkey held simultaneously in 81 provinces "11 Million Tree planting" carried out by participating in the tree planting event program.

The event was held in the garden of Turnasuyu Kız Anadolu High School. Prof. Dr. Ali Akdogan, as well as Ordu Governor Seddar Yavuz, Mayor of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality. Mehmet Hilmi Guler, representatives of public institutions and organizations, non-governmental organizations, students and teachers and citizens attended.

Simultaneously, a large number of saplings were planted in Sayacabaşı by the students of the Department of Landscape Architecture of the Agricultural Faculty of the University.

''Giving Breath to the Future'' campaign has been kicked off in order to contribute to the sensitivity of the environment of all sections of society and forest fires as a result of initiated with the aim of reforested areas damaged simultaneously in two thousand 23 points grounded 11 million seedlings.
