Quran Recitation and Prayer Program for 18 March Çanakkale Martyrs was Organized at Our University

A recitation of the Holy Quran and a prayer program was carried out by the Faculty of Theology of our university within the scope of March 18 Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs' Memorial Day.
Delivering the opening speech of the program performed on You Tube Oduzem channel, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdogan stated, “ The Turkish nation has always protected its religion, land, national and spiritual values, and in its struggle for existence, it gladly revealed its life with its faith and belief. We are the grandchildren of such a glorious, enduring, faithful nation. It is our duty to tell that Çanakkale is impassable, and always remind future generations how Gazi Mustafa Atatürk and his comrades fought in Anafartalar, Seddülbahir and other fronts, how they fought in a wholehearted manner and what struggles this country overcame.
Allah Almighty says in the Quran: "Do not say that the martyrs are dead, on the contrary, they are alive, they are alive, but you do not feel them." In this context, we believe that our martyrs live with us spiritually and spiritually. With these feelings and thoughts, I commemorate our veterans and our sainted martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of our country on the 106th anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory with eternal gratitude and mercy.
In the continuation of the program, Faculty of Education Deputy Dean and Faculty of Theology faclty member Prof. Dr. Sadık Kılıç prayed after the recitation of the Holy Quran by the lecturer of Faculty of Theology Mustafa Hatipoğlu.
