Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan conducted examinations in Ministry of Health- Ordu University Education and Research Hospital and Gynecology and Children's Hospital and visited polyclinics, neonatal units and operating rooms. Rector Akdoğan, who was informed about the physical capacity and needs of the hospitals, met doctors and other health personnel and said that necessary works will be done in order to meet these needs. Rector Akdoğan, “We, as Ordu University, wish that all medical treatments of all our patients will be done in Ordu and the dependence on the surrounding provinces will be reduced. We also know that there is a sensitivity and an awareness on this issue in our province. It is a common idea that everyone should have a hospital equipped with more modern, advanced technologies and sufficient number of doctors in order to solve the health problems of Ordu people.My desire is that all citizens will be satisfied when they come to the hospital and return home. With the construction of a state-of-the-art hospital equipped with advanced technology that suits Ordu, our Faculty of Medicine will provide a wide range of applications to our students and will provide service to our citizens in a comfortable working environment.”
