According to the results of the 2020 YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam) of our university, the quotas for associate and undergraduate programs that will take students have been determined.

According to the list of YKS Higher Education Programs and Quotas in 2020, a total of 4 thousand 30 quotas were given to our university during the 2020-2021 academic year. In the new period, where a total of 1,905 students will be admitted to 42 associate degree programs and 2,125 students in 46 undergraduate programs, the quota of foreign students, vertical transfer quotas and the quota of graduate and doctoral students to be admitted to the institutes are included in this number, The number of students is expected to be over 5 thousand.

In his statement on the subject, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan stated that Ordu University has increased its place among the new generation universities with each passing semester and said, “While our university has achieved a significant growth with the number of students reaching 19 thousand, it continues to fulfill the requirements of deepening scientific research activities and reaching a qualified education level. In our country, where the demand for higher education institutions increases every year, we, as Ordu University, host more students in each education period. In this context, with the 2020 YKS quotas given to our university, it is expected that a total of 4,30 new students will be included in the associate's and undergraduate programs, and this number will exceed 5,000 with foreign students, vertical transfer and graduate students. Our university, which has increased its national and international recognition with its scientific studies, will continue to produce knowledge, maintain the university-city integrity, and contribute to the development of our country by cooperating with all stakeholder institutions and organizations with the participation of our new students.
