Within the scope of TUBITAK Information Day, “EU Framework Programs-Horizon 2020 Promotion Program” conference was held in our university.

The program was held in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts. Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tahsin Tonkaz, Deans of the Faculty, General Secretary Assis. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sami Güler and academic and administrative staff.

In the opening speech of the program, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan pointed out that knowledge is necessary for human development. “Knowledge is the most important human force and without knowledge, development and progress cannot be mentioned. One can think as big as his / her knowledge and horizon and achieve big things. I believe that we can accomplish important things with information, research and encouragement and we can create new things. Today, we can mobilize our young population with the projects and researches we will carry out through the outputs of the information meeting to be held here. I would like to state that we fully support the scientific research and projects that will be realized in order to make Ordu University a brand university in the country and in the world. ”

The presentation was made by TUBITAK Experts, Ufuk Atay, Dr. Ebru Göncüoğlu and İbrahim Çiçekli. Through the European Union Framework Program and the Horizon 2020 Program, information was provided on various programs such as support program for increasing the R & D potential of universities, rapid support program, career development program, and support program for scientific and technological research projects.

After the program Rector. Dr. Ali Akdoğan presented a certificate of appreciation to TÜBİTAK experts.
