The Eastern Black Sea Project Regional Development Administration Universities Union (UNI-DOKAP) 2023 term presidency was transferred from Hitit University to our University at the supreme board meeting.

Hosted by Ondokuz Mayıs University and chaired by the Chairman of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, the UNI-DOKAP upper committee meeting was attended by the rectors of 15 universities in the DOKAP Region. 

A general evaluation of 2022 was made at the UNI-DOKAP upper committee meeting, whose 2022 term presidency was held by Hitit University. After the meeting, which emphasized the importance of cooperation among the universities in the DOKAP region, such as education, research-development and projects, social service and regional development, the 2023 term presidency of UNİ-DOKAP was transferred from Hitit University to our University with a ceremony.
