Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan said, “Today, there are very important developments in the field of health in the world and in our country, thanks to the investments made by our government in this field. Since the day we took office, we have made very important investments in the field of medicine. Yesterday, our Minister of Health, Dr. In my phone call with Fahrettin Koca, I informed that the rough construction of the city hospital, which was built on 250 decares of land allocated by our university, was completed. I would like to give the good news that the opening of our city hospital, which will serve not only Ordu but also the surrounding provinces, is planned to be opened in March. We recruited 78 medical doctors, and at the same time, we opened a Cardiovascular Surgery Operating Room and Intensive Care Unit in our hospital. We have done our best to minimize the shipment of patients to the surrounding provinces and will continue to do so. However, I would like to state that all the facilities of our Rectorate are at their service in order to provide comfortable service to our fellow physicians and to solve their problems. With these feelings and thoughts, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this congress hosted by our University, and hope that the congress will achieve its planned goals and accelerate scientific studies to be carried out in the field of health.”

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Celal Tezcan said, “It is certain that positive developments for human health will emerge, with new decisions being discussed and discussed at every medical congress. Therefore, I would like to state that medical congresses are extremely important. With the thought that this congress to be held will lead to very important developments for human health, I wish the congress to be beneficial for our city and the medical world.”
