150 open heart surgeries have been performed in our University Training and Research Hospital Cardiovascular Surgery operating room since the day it was opened.

In the Cardiovascular Surgery operating room, which became operational in December 2021, 15 and 135 successful open heart surgeries have been performed in 2022.

In the operating room where a total of 150 heart surgeries have been performed since the day it was opened, in addition to 42 large vascular operations, many minor operations (varicose, fistula, vascular injury) were performed.

Children's heart operations, which could not be done before due to impossibility, were started to be performed by Pediatric Cardiology and 12 children were healed after the opening of the operating room. In the Adult Cardiology clinic, on the other hand, all kinds of risky cardiac interventions, which could not be performed before due to the lack of surgical support, were started to be performed successfully, and the patients ended up going out of the city. In addition, the 5-bed intensive care unit has reached 110 percent occupancy since the day it was opened.
