Continuing to increase the number of students each year as well as its academic and physical development, Ordu University reached 98.6 percent occupancy rate this year, according to the 2023 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) placement results. 
For the 2023-2024 academic year, 4 thousand 199 students settled in our University, which has a total of 4 thousand 489 quotas, except for the special talent exam. In this context, while 2 thousand 009 students were placed in the quotas opened for 37 departments in the faculties of our University; 98.6 percent occupancy rate was achieved by placing 2,190 students in the quotas opened for 42 associate degree programs in vocational schools.
Ranking 1st in the Black Sea Region and 10th among state universities according to the Turkey University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) 2023 Report, in which student satisfaction levels are measured, Ordu University continues to maintain its place among the most preferred universities according to the YKS placement results.
