Graduation ceremonies of the Faculty of Dentistry and Medicine of our University were held for the 2021-2022 Academic Year.

The graduation ceremonies held in the Conference Hall of the Morphology building were attended by Deputy Governor Ayhan Durmuş, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Niyazi Tasci and Prof. Dr. Tahsin Tonkaz, Faculty Deans, Ordu Provincial Health Director Op. Dr. Dursun Tüzün, Deputy General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Sami Güler, representatives of public institutions and organizations, academic and administrative staff, students and their families.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan stated in his speech at the graduation ceremonies, “Our University, which has continued its academic and physical development since the year it was founded, continues to serve our province, region and country with the quality studies carried out. Our Faculty of Dentistry and Medicine, while continuing its health services with the aim of creating value for the people living in the region where it is located, meets an important health need of our province and our region with the numerous treatments and surgical procedures it performs. At the same time, our faculty continues to train specialist doctors who provide health services in almost all parts of our country by equipping their students with theoretical and practical knowledge. Dear students, as the representatives of a profession that touches human health and life, I fully believe that you will perform your profession in the best way thanks to the education you receive from here. We are happy and peaceful because we have brought in new individuals like you to the modern and qualified manpower that our country needs. On the occasion of this special day, I would like to thank our precious families, faculty members and all our colleagues who contributed, and wish you a lifetime of success.”

The ceremonies in which the diplomas of the graduates and the awards were given to the students who graduated, ended with the throwing of graduation caps after the dentistry and the Hippocratic oath were read.
