The Republic is the embodiment of our nation's will to live freely and independently on its own lands. It is an example of the faith, unwavering will and interlocking of the Turkish nation and is the greatest legacy inherited to our nation.
The great Turkish nation, whose name is written in golden letters on the pages of history with its liberation struggle, has the power and consciousness to act with the same faith and determination when it comes to independence.
With this belief and the determination to raise our country to the level of contemporary civilizations, by working with all our strength, to protect the integrity of our holy lands watered with the blood of our martyrs; it is one of our most sublime duties to be instrumental in our country's progress towards the future with more confident steps by raising productive and qualified young people who love their homeland, nation and freedom, who are loyal to their national and spiritual values.
With these thoughts, I commemorate especially the founder of our Republic, Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades in arms, our heroes of the National Struggle, our veterans and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our country with endless gratitude, gratitude and mercy.
