ODU is in the first 30 in the University Student Satisfaction Survey

        According to Turkey University Satisfaction Survey(TUMA) 2020 Report results which measured the satisfaction level of the undergraduate students,  our university which ranked 38th last year settled in as 29th among 125 public universities this year. 

        A total of 192 universities, including 125 states and 67 foundations were included in the research conducted by Prof. Dr.  Cemil Yücel and Prof. Dr. Engin Karadağ, founders of University Research Laboratory (ÜniAr).

        According to the General Satisfaction Ranking of the Universities part of the research in which the satisfaction levels of undergraduate students are measured and 39 thousand 386 students are included, Our university has increased its place from 67th last year to 52nd this year and from 38th among state universities to 29th this year.

         TUMA, whose main purpose is determining the level of satisfaction of university students in Turkey and sorting them according to their satisfactoriness level, continues to investigate students' satisfaction in many areas such as education and training, life in the campus, academic support and interest, the administration and functioning of the university, the level of learning opportunities and resources in universities, personal development and career support.

        Accordingly, Ordu University,

• increased its place from the 40th place last year to 31st this year in the "Learning Experience Satisfaction" list of universities.

• increased its place from 18th last year to 12th this year in the “Satisfaction with the Management and Operation of the Institution " ranking.

• increased its place from the 28th place last year to 21st this year in the "Academic Support and Interest" ranking.

• increased its place from 39th last year to 29th this year in the "Campus and the Satisfaction of Life" ranking.

• it increased its place from 66th last year to 53 this year in the "Educational Experience Satisfaction" ranking,

• and took 29th place among 125 state universities with a total of 460 general satisfaction points.

        Rector Akdoğan said, “It is a satisfactory development that Ordu University carries its place up among all universities each year according to the Turkey University Satisfaction Survey (Tuma) 2020 report.” He stated that such research provides a broad perspective to all stakeholders about the university experiences of students and the work done in higher education institutions. Then he contiued, “While the experiences of the students are an important indicator of student satisfaction, satisfaction provides us with only a part of the photograph of whether the educational experience is satisfactory. That our university took 29th place among 125 state universities with a total of 460 general satisfaction points is an indication that we are taking correct and consistent steps. There is no doubt that this success is a natural result of the devoted work and efforts of all the employees of Ordu University. I would like to thank the Ordu University family who contributed to the development of our university.”
