I thank you to everyone who contributed to the organization of this event. The value that universities place on sports and cultural activities is especially important. Ordu University is currently one of the leading universities in Turkey in every field. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Rector and the University administration. I wish success to our young brothers, and I hope they will continue their success here throughout their lives.”

Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdogan expressed his feelings, “Dear young people; You are our future, our hope and those who will carry the values of this country further. Our efforts, and the opportunities we have prepared are for you to live your youth in better conditions and to make the most of the opportunities of our country. As Ordu University and Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, we are pleased to host this organization in order to welcome you here in the best way possible. As you all know, there happened a terrible disaster in our country on February 6 and 11 of our provinces were seriously affected. First of all, I would like to convey my best wishes to our students who came here to represent Hatay Mustafa Kemal Pasha University and to our students from 11 cities in the earthquake zone and from other universities, and express my happiness to have them among us. We, as the state of the Republic of Turkey, are with you and will continue to be with you, as in the past, and we are ready to do whatever it takes to heal your wounds. With these feelings and thoughts, I would like to thank everyone, especially our Ministry of Youth and Sports, their representatives in Ordu, all employees of the relevant federation in Turkey, the rectors of the universities participating in the competitions, and the whole team that takes care of our youth, who contributed to the organization of this organization. I hope that the badminton competitions, in which the precious young people of 27 universities will compete for 5 days, will be successful and beneficial.”

In the competitions to be held between 26-30 April, badminton groups of 26 universities will compete each other.
