Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan attended the "International Conference on the Events of 1915" organized by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications.

The opening speeches of the conference, in which the historical background of the events of 1915, their legal dimension and their current reflections were discussed, were made by Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Altun and the President of the Turkish Historical Society. The conference held in Turkey Online and academics from many countries, researchers, experts and invited guests attended.

In the conference, which was held in three sessions, the 1915 Events and the Armenian Question in the Historical Process, the Events of 1915 in terms of International Law and the Reflections of the 1915 Events to the Present and the Future Perspective were discussed.
