The program was held at our university on the occasion of November 24, Teachers' Day.

The event held in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Medicine Morphology building was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdogan, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Niyazi Tasci, Prof. Dr. Tahsin Tonkaz, Faculty Deans, academic and administrative staff, students and guests attended.

Speaking at the program organized by the Faculty of Education, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. İlker Aydın said, “Since the day human beings existed, their education has been considered as important and valuable as their existence. After getting the basic information in the family environment in which he was born and raised, he needed a teacher, that is, a teacher to become more equipped. I started my career as a classroom teacher. I will never forget those moments when my students greeted me with a poem, my teacher, my dear, without any guidance on the first teacher's day. With these feelings and thoughts, first of all, I wish God's mercy on all the teachers who were martyred, and I congratulate all our teachers on the teacher's day. said.

In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr.Ali Akdoğan said, “First of all, I commemorate our martyred teachers with mercy, gratitude and gratitude. We should commemorate them with gratitude every day, not just one day, and know their worth and value. Our mothers, fathers and teachers have made a great contribution to us coming to where we are today. As our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed, the hands of parents and teachers, whom I like very much, are kissed. No matter what you are, no matter what age or status we are, their hands are kissed because it is thanks to them that we have come to these days. With these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate all our teachers on the 24th of November, Teacher's Day, and offer my love and respect to all of you.” said.

The program came to an end after the poetry performance, theater performance and mini concert prepared by the students of the Faculty of Education.
