Our university hosted competitions of "1 Inter-University Volleyball League (Men) organized by the Turkish Sports Federation. 
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tevfik Noyan, the director of school of Physical Education and Sports Assoc. Prof. Ercüment Erdoğan, Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Tuncay Özay, academic and administrative staff and students attended the opening ceremony of the volleyball competition organized in the School of Physical Education and Sports (BESYO) Sports Hall.
Making opening speech of the program, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tevfik Noyan stated that such sportive activities organized by Turkish Sports Federation  contribute to the strengthening of communication and social ties among universities and that he was glad to host the managers, trainers and sportsmen students of the universities participating in the group competitions at Ordu University.
After the ceremony, the opening competition was held between our university and Başkent University and the match ended with the 3-2 advantage of the guest team. In the period of 16-19 April during the competitions, our university, Atatürk University, Başkent University and Düzce University men's volleyball teams were encountered.
At the end of the competitions, Ankara University won the 1st  place, Ordu University took the 2nd  place and  the University of Düzce took the 3rd place.
