ORDU UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXAM REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION:

IMPORTANT NOTE!

In accordance with the letter of the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education dated 10.05.2023 and numbered E-75850160-301.02.02-32987, it has been decided that the number of foreign students from the same country enrolled in the quotas for admission of students from abroad determined for Medicine and Dentistry programmes from the 2023-2024 academic year will not exceed 10% of the programme quota.

Candidates whose applications can be accepted

ARTICLE 10 - (1) Candidates who will apply:

a) They must be in their last year of high school or have graduated from high school;

1) Foreign nationalities,

2) Those who are Turkish citizens by birth, but who have received permission from the Ministry of Interior to renounce Turkish citizenship and their minor children registered in the certificate of renunciation of Turkish citizenship, who document that they have a Certificate on the Exercise of Recognised Rights obtained in accordance with the Turkish Citizenship Law, (Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 states that "(1) A child born in a marriage union to a Turkish citizen mother or father within or outside Turkey is a Turkish citizen." and it is beneficial for candidates who will apply for admission quotas from abroad to examine the Turkish Citizenship Law).
3) Those who are foreign nationals by birth but have acquired Turkish citizenship later and therefore hold dual citizenship,

4) From the following items;

a) Among Turkish nationals who attended secondary education abroad before the date of 01/02/2013, those who completed the last three years of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), (including those who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye in a foreign country, other than the TRNC),
(b) Among Turkish nationals who started secondary education abroad after the date of 01/02/2013, those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than the TRNC, (including those who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye in a foreign country, other than the TRNC),

5) Citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), nationals who reside in the TRNC and have completed their secondary education (high school) in the TRNC and have GCEAL exam results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and studying in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010, are eligible to apply to Ordu University as an international student.

 

 

PROCEDURES TO BE DONE TO APPLY FOR ODÜ-ULÖS-2023 EXAM

In order to apply for the ODÜ-ULÖS-2023 Exam:

Candidates who will apply for the ODÜ-ULÖS-2023 Examination must deposit the domestic or international exam participation fee specified in the table below within the periods announced in the Academic Calendar to Ziraat Bank Akyazı / Ordu Branch / Ordu University Rectorate Health Culture and Sports Department (Ziraat Bankası Akyazı / Ordu Şubesi / Ordu Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü Sağ. Kül. ve Spor Dai. Bşk.) account,
The name, surname and passport / ID number of the student who will attend the exam should be written on the bank receipt as an explanation,
The bank receipt and one passport size picture must be uploaded to the application system. 
Applications can be made until 28.05.2023 at 23:59.

Procedures to be done:

a) If the exam participation fee is paid in Turkey, it will be deposited into the account of Ziraat Bank Akyazı / Ordu Branch / Ordu University Rectorate Health, Culture and Sports Department (Ziraat Bankası Akyazı / Ordu Şubesi / Ordu Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü Sağ. Kül. ve Spor Dai. Bşk.)  account with the relevant IBAN number according to the CBRT exchange rate on the day of payment.

b) The name, surname and passport number / ID number of the student who will attend the exam should be written on the bank receipt as an explanation,

c) Upload the bank receipt and one passport size photo to the application system.  
             

NOTE:
1- While paying the exam participation fee, the amount that the banks will charge for the transfer transaction fee shall be calculated apart from the amount to be paid as the exam participation fee.

2- Candidates who will apply for the exam from abroad can deposit the exam participation fee through a correspondent bank or banks that make international transactions, and in countries where the exam participation fee cannot be deposited through the bank, the exam participation fees can be taken by hand with a report at the time of the exam.

3- Refund of exam participation fees will be refunded only in case of CANCELLATION of the exam in the specified exam centres.

4- Collective payment will not be accepted and collective payment will not be refunded.

Important Note: The exam will not be held in centres where the number of applications is not sufficient and the exam fees of those who apply from these centres will be refunded.
 

ODÜ-ULÖS 2023 EXAM DETAILS:

a) ODÜ-ULÖS Examination is applied online via https://uok.odu.edu.tr/

b) ODÜ-ULÖS exam questions are composed of 80 (eighty) questions.

c) Exam questions are prepared in four booklet types as A, B, C, D.

d) The exam questions consist of 40 (forty) Basic Mathematics Test and 40 (forty) Numerical Aptitude Test questions. The candidate’s raw scores for each test are obtained by subtracting 1/4 of the number of incorrect answers from the number of correct answers.

e) The exam questions have been prepared in five different languages as Turkish, Arabic, English, Russian and French.

f) If the number of participants in the ODÜ-ULÖS exam is 15 (fifteen) or more in a country specified in the Examination Calendar, the exam will be held in the relevant country.

g) The exam time in Turkey is 14.00.
