The "Spring Festival" event was held at the Cumhuriyet Campus of our university.

The event held in front of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts was attended by the Rector of our University, Prof. Dr. Ali Akdogan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tahsin Tonkaz, Deans of Faculty, Mayor of Aybastı Beytullah Geçtan, General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sami Güler, Artificial Heart Surgeon Dr. Dilek Gürsoy, academic and administrative staff and students attended.

The "Spring Festival" event, which started with a folk dance performance, continued with the acrobatic show of the Sports Science students and the concerts of the music groups formed by the students of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts.

Speaking at the Spring Festival, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan said, “Dear young people, I greet you with my most heartfelt feelings. It's a great feeling to be with you. You are our soul, you are our future, you are our hope. As Ordu University family, we are doing our best to use the opportunities given to us by the state and the nation, with our 1000 teachers and around 700 administrative staff, so that you can get the best education, stay in the best way and be happy here. Dear students, everything is lost, but education always moves people forward. Therefore, we need well-educated, knowledgeable, equipped and moral young people. You deserve this. I hope you will accomplish great things for this country to move forward. We manage our university with a student-centered, student-oriented management approach, with the feeling of being the parents of 17 thousand students in the spiritual sense. That's why we did our best yesterday for you to have a peaceful and happy education period and we will continue to do so.”
