Old Airport Land in Ünye Allocated to University

66 acres of old airport land in Ünye, owned by the General Directorate of Forestry, was allocated to our University as a campus area for the purpose of creating education and research area.
Rector Akdoğan, who signed the permission protocol with Ünye Forest Management Manager Aşkın Ozan Aydın for the allocation of the land, stated, “Currently, we have more than 3,000 students at Ünye Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Ünye Vocational School. Considering the increasing number of students each semester, the transfer of this land, which was previously owned by the Turkish Aeronautical Association and has not been used for long years, as a campus area, is a very pleasing development for us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have contributed to the allocation of the land and wish it to be beneficial to our University and the people of Ünye.”
