ODU Moves Its Academic Achievement Graph To The Higher Levels Each Semester

 

Ordu University, which is rapidly advancing towards becoming the university of the future, carries its success graph both in the scientific field and in student satisfaction to higher levels with each passing year, according to the research results of national and international evaluation institutions.

Among the Top 5 Universities in Turkey in the Field of Medicine and Maritime

According to the SCImago Institutions Rankings 2023 report, in which the research, innovation and social impact performances of universities are evaluated, our University was among the top 5 universities in Turkey in terms of success in the fields of medicine and maritime.

According to the report, our University ranked 4th among Universities in Turkey in the sub-field of Cardiology and 5th in the sub-field of Psychiatry, while it was among the top 4 universities in Turkey in the field of Maritime.

Up 11 Places in URAP Ranking

According to the URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) 2022-2023 Turkey Ranking, ODU was able to move from its 83rd place last year to 72nd place among 183 universities, elevating it 11 steps this year.

According to the URAP 2022-2023 results prepared as a result of the analyzes carried out by the URAP Research Laboratory established within the Middle East Technical University Informatics Institute, our University ranked 72nd from its 83rd place among 183 universities in Turkey; among 121 state universities, it was ranked 69th last year, to 59; among the 112 universities established after 2000, it moved from the 26th rank last year to the 21st.

18th among State Universities, 1st in Black Sea Region

According to the results of the Turkey University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) 2022 Report, in which the satisfaction levels of undergraduate students are measured, our University ranked 18th among 126 state universities and ranked 1st among universities in the Black Sea region.

In the research carried out by Prof. Dr. Engin Karadağ and Prof. Dr. Cemil Yücel, University Research Laboratory (ÜniAr) founders, a total of 199 universities, 126 state and 73 foundations were included.  According to the overall satisfaction ranking of the study, which measures the satisfaction levels of undergraduate students and includes 47,682 students, our university moved from 71st to 33rd, and from 42 to 18th among state universities.

According to the results of the TÜMA 2022 Report, which investigates the satisfaction of the students in the areas of the satisfaction of the learning experience, the satisfaction of the campus and life, academic support and interest, the management and operation of the institution, the richness of learning opportunities and resources, and personal development and career support, our University is ranked 1st of the 21 universities in the Black Sea Region.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdoğan stated, “We are striving to come up with new and original ideas with our entrepreneurial, innovative and researcher spirit so that our university can become a brand university in its region, country and the world. These outputs obtained from the studies carried out by national and international evaluation institutions are the most obvious indicator of the success of our University in scientific studies. These data also indicate that we will rise to higher levels in the rankings to be made in the coming years. I congratulate all of our academic and administrative staff who contribute to the development of our University and our country, and the education and training of our youth with their qualified work carried out with these thoughts."
