Our current building was allocated to Ordu University to be used as a vocational school in 2013. After the establishment of our university, it started its education actively as a unit of Ordu University since the 2013-2014 academic year.
Akkuş Vocational School started its training activities with one program in 2013-2014 academic year. A total of 30 students have graduated so far, a total of 160 students have been continuing their education with regular education and evening education.
In our school there’re 6 academic staff, 2 staff, 1 subcontracted worker and 8 security staff. In our building we have 4 classrooms, 1 laboratory, 6 rooms for academics, and 2 rooms for the other staff, a library, a sports hall, a dining hall and a canteen.
As of the fall semester of the 2015-2016 academic year, there are two programs which continue training actively in our vocational school as shown below:
