According to the URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) 2021-2022 Turkey Ranking, our university has taken its place among universities to higher levels this year as well.

URAP 2021-2022 Turkey Ranking has been published as a result of the analyzes carried out by the URAP Research Laboratory established within the Middle East Technical University Informatics Institute. According to the results of URAP 2021-2022 prepared by using Clarivate Analytics/In Cites and the data published by the Council of Higher Education, our University ranks 83rd among 179 universities in Turkey, 69th among 121 state universities, and 26th among 108 universities established after 2000.

While evaluating universities, the criteria of the number of articles, the number of articles per faculty member, the number of citations, the total number of scientific documents, the total number of documents per faculty member, the number of doctoral students, the ratio of doctorate students, and the number of students per faculty member were taken into consideration.

The URAP rankings, which are an important reference source for academic studies and show the level of science that universities can produce, provide universities with an important evaluation opportunity in setting goals, and help universities to compare their academic performance with other universities and to recognize the openness to improvements of universities according to the determined criteria.
